Once a month, we run a four-hour social media planning and writing session. This is an extension of our long-running Writing Room Community weekly writing group, and anyone is welcome to join this monthly planning and writing session. You do not have to be on a mentorship or part of the weekly writing group to join.
This is a focus group to brainstorm and then write your own social media. In the four-hour slot, we expect to complete four pieces. This will include writing, creating the images and scheduling the posts. Job done in a day, and your social media is planned and ready for a month.

- FB posts or Insta (Meta)
- Newsletters, Blogs, Substacked
- Any video content (TikTok, YouTube etc)
You will be guided by our usual community hosts, with some guests running short tutorials on various modalities over the months.
As always, we'll have a 15-minute brainstorming session where you can work on your reader or audience and workshop the topics of your posts. Then you mute to write or create for 45 mins. In four hours, you should have completed this monthly content.
